Differentiated by the candid, “in the moment” nature of her photographs Christine Hochkeppel has a wide range of clientele and aims to capture their true essence, whether it be branding a corporate identity or capturing the chemistry of a newlywed couple.
She strives to make her subjects feel comfortable in front of the lens to accurately convey their personalities. She has worked as a professional photojournalist for over 11 years for newspapers such as the Boston Globe, Worcester Telegram & Gazette and the Cape Cod Times. Her work has been recognized many times in regional competitions like the New England Newspaper & Press Association, Boston Press Photographers Association and the National Press Photographers Association.
Christine is a graduate of Boston University’s photojournalism program and considers herself a lifelong student. She regularly participates in workshops and classes to expand her expertise. She is currently a participant in EforAll South Coast, a business accelerator in New Bedford. In the past, she has participated in the MediaStorm multimedia workshop and NPPA Short Courses.
