I have been working as a photojournalist since 2005 and I started shooting weddings in part-time 2007. I went full-time when I founded Salty Broad Studios in 2018. I have received many awards for my news photography from the New England Newspaper & Press Association and the National Press Photographers Association. I’m proud to have earned the “Best of the Knot” title four years in a row for 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Moment-driven and authentic. My emphasis is on capturing candid moments and making you feel comfortable. I strive to capture pictures that reflect the personalities of my clients or brand story of their business.
The amount of deliverables depends on the project but most clients booking a 1-hour portrait session receive 60-75 images to review. I edit the best photos and weed out redundancies. I also believe in clean post-production practices meaning I adjust the exposure, color balance and contrast of those photos but I don’t make any alterations that are unnatural unless specifically asked by the client.
Yes, take assignments throughout New England. If travel is beyond a 60-mile radius is necessary, a travel fee will be assessed.
I use professional level Nikon camera equipment, two Nikon D850s, with a wide variety of lenses and a 4-strobe light kit.
