What does high resolution mean?
High resolution means you’ll receive a large, high quality image size at 300 dpi that may be printed. You can print the pictures you choose to receive in high resolution on your own or order prints of any image directly from your private gallery.
Why does Salty Broad Studios limit the number of high resolution files I receive?
I believe that all of my clients should experience quality photo finishing, which is why I include a print credit and limit the number of high resolution files. Print and wall art orders placed through your private gallery will be fulfilled by premier photo finishing lab, White House Custom Colour and will be delivered to your door. You’ve already invested in great photography, now bring those memories to life by investing in archival prints that will last a lifetime.
What should I wear?
I recommend that families dress as if they are going out to a casual dinner or a family gathering. Wear clothes that express your personalities. Color coordinate without “matching.” Don’t forget to pick out nice shoes or plan to go barefoot for a beach session! Don’t wear clothing with a prominent printed message or logo. Solids are best but one person in a plaid or gingham can work. Be prepared for the season. If it’s summer, wear sunscreen. If it’s evening, bring bug spray.
Should I bring props?
Sure! There are lots of ways to make family photo sessions fun and unique. Feel free to bring bubbles, pets, crazy hats, bikes, wagons, a sign, a blanket, a rustic wooden frame. Get creative!
How do you set your prices?
Professional photography is an investment that will pay back in dividends! For this affordable, one-time fee, you will receive handheld memories that will last a lifetime. There are several factors involved in how I set my prices including standard market rates, my college-level education and years of training, my cost of doing business (marketing, advertising and website hosting), the investment in my professional camera equipment, computers and editing software, travel expenses and my time spent editing the pictures after the shoot.
